Xiaomi Hikes Prices
Xiaomi had increased the price of the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi TV 55 inch early this year. Now again the Global technology leader Xiaomi has increased the prices of Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Mi TV and Mi Power Bank 2i (10000mAh).
Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain tweeted this information on Twitter officially.
Manu Kumar Jain, tweeted that Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Mi TV 4C Pro (32 inch), Mi TV 4A Pro (49 inch) and Mi Power Bank 2i (10,000 mAh) will be expensive from tonight.
He says that rupee has depreciated against the dollar by nearly 15% since the be-
ginning of the year, which has resulted in a significant rise in input cost for us, To offset
this a few of our products will witness marginal price adjustment and will now move on
from their introductory price phase announced during their launch in September.

The new prices are listed below:

The price of Redmi 6A (2 GB RAM and 16 GB) storage variant has been increased by 600 rupees and now it will be available at Rs 6,599 instead of Rs 5,999.
The price of Redmi 6A (2 GB RAM and 32 GB) storage variant has been increased by 500 rupees and now it will be available at Rs 7,499 instead of Rs 6,999.

Redmi 6 (3GB RAM+32GB) variant will have a slight price increase of 500 rupees and would be available for Rs 8,499 instead of Rs 7,999.

Mi LED TV 4C Pro’s 32-inch variant has been increased by Rs 1,000. Now this TV would be available for Rs 15,999 instead of Rs 14,999.

Mi LED TV 4A Pro’s 49-inch variant has been increased by Rs 2,000. Now this TV would be available for Rs 31,999 instead of Rs 29,999.

And finally the Mi Power Bank 2i (10000 mAh) has been increased by Rs 100. Now this Power bank would be available for Rs 899 instead of Rs 799.

It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi has made all the three handsets Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro in the open sale instead of flash sale this week. These three handsets were launched in India in September this year.

The new prices are effective at midnight from today, 11 November 2018 onwards.
