Samsung wants to charge at least 929 euros for the basic version of the Galaxy S20, which corresponds to a price increase of around 20 euros. Last year in Italy the Galaxy S10 was initially charged 909 euros – 10 euros more than in Germany.
The Galaxy S20 with its 6.2-inch display is likely to be the 4G version in this country So probably also 10 euros cheaper than in Italy and thus cost 919 euros. For the 5G-capable variants planned for all new S20 models, Samsung is supposed to set a price that is 100 euros higher. This would mean that the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G costs 1029 euros in Italy, while 1019 euros are due in Germany.
For its 900 or 1000 euros, the customer allegedly received the Galaxy S20 with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory. In addition, variants with up to 12 gigabytes of RAM and a maximum of 512 GB flash memory are also planned. The same goes for the Galaxy S20 + and the new S20 Ultra.
Ultra version with 5G costs almost 1400 euros
According to the report, Samsung is demanding at least 1,029 euros in the “normal” edition without 5G support for the Galaxy S20 Plus with a 6.7-inch screen, while the variant with support for the new mobile radio standard is expected to pay an impressive 1129 euros. For comparison: The Galaxy S10 + came on the market in 2019 for 999 or 1009 euros, depending on the region in Europe.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra with its 6.9-inch screen is once again going up significantly: in Italy, this model, which will only be available there with 5G support, is said to be launched for 1379 euros. The size of the memory in this case is still open. But it is probably a top configuration with up to 16 GB RAM and a terabyte of flash memory.
