Samsung Galaxy Fold Launched In India

Today we bring a piece of good news. We will see the world’s most revolutionary and innovative device, the Samsung Galaxy Fold in India, very soon.

Samsung, after the failure of the review units of the Galaxy Fold in February, ultimately came up with a retail unit on 6th of September. And now that unit is set to go live in Indian markets as well and is priced at 1,64,999 INR.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Key Specs

The standalone unit in India brings extensive 512 GB of Internal Storage with 12 GB of RAM supporting its Octa-Core Processor. The device houses six cameras, three on the back, two on the main screen and one on the secondary display.

The secondary or front display has a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED panel with an HD+ 840×1960 Pixel resolution. 

The foldable display is a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED panel with 1536×2152 Pixel resolution.

The device runs on Samsung’s very own One UI on top of Android 9 Pie.

The Galaxy Fold houses a dual battery with a capacity of 4,380mAh and supports wireless charging. The amazing Wireless PowerShare feature is also a thing with this one.

There is No Headphone Jack on the device, but Samsung had the courtesy to include a pair of their wireless Galaxy Buds inside the box.

Although we know that this device is not for everyone, we appreciate Samsung for remarkably breaking the barriers this time.

It is for the first time that a big manufacturer included this much innovation and technology in a single product.

This is definitely a huge step in the right direction.
