Realme has just announced the new Realme XT, and it is the world’s first phone to feature a crazy 64 MP camera. The Realme XT will be launched on September 21, 2019, and will be priced somewhere between 16,000 INR to 18,000 INR for the standard variant.
The Realme XT is looking like another variant of the Realme X without the pop-up. This device is going to come with a waterdrop notch this time.
Realme XT Specifications
The XT houses the Snapdragon 712 SOC. For memory and storage in the Realme XT, different variants of 4/6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage will be available to choose between. The phone will come equipped with a massive 4000 mAh battery and will charge at high speeds, thanks to the VOOC 3.0 charging technology.
It runs on Color OS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie. We can see an In-Screen Fingerprint sensor for security and not that we have to mention, but the device comes with a 6.4-inches Super AMOLED FHD+ screen
The Realme XT rocks a 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP Quad camera setup with the 64 MP primary shooter, which is the major highlight of this device. Realme XT is the first phone in the world to feature Samsung’s 64MP GM1 sensor.
The other cameras: an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s also a 16-megapixel single front camera.
The device keeps our beloved 3.5 mm headphone jack and has a dedicated slot for SD Card so you don’t run out of storage space, so a thumbs up to Realme for that.
Realme has really been aggressive this year by launching so many phones in such a short period of time. It is clear that the company wants to create its monopoly in the mid-range and budget segment. But this is a good thing for us, enthusiasts as this activity will toughen the competition even more.
