OxygenOS 10 Based On Android 10 Rolls Out For OnePlus 6/6T

OnePlus is renowned for its timely and fast software update service. How fast they provide new and latest updates is commendable. The scenario with this year’s Android 10 was also the same.

While there are brands who are still on their beta tests of the latest Android, OnePlus has released two phones with Android 10, updated their previous generation devices to Android 10, and now are rolling out these updates for their previous year flagships.

OnePlus has started rolling out Android 10 updates for the OnePlus 6 and 6T users. Multiple users located throughout Europe have reported receiving the update yesterday. Given below is the changelog:

  • System
    • Upgraded to Android 10
    • All-new UI design
    • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
    • New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
  • Full-Screen Gestures
    • Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
    • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps
  • Game Space
    • New Game Space feature now joins all your favourite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience
  • Smart display
    • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Smart Display)
  • Message
    • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Blocking settings)

The users can either wait for the official updates or can download them via the app Oxygen Updater.
