The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has been finally put to the DxOMark’s Camera Tests, and the results are somewhat expected.
Some claimed that the iPhone 11 Pro series is having the best cameras on any smartphone yet. The results in this test put the iPhone ahead of the likes of Pixel 4 and S10 devices, and next to the Note 10 Plus. The device scores a whopping 117 pointer for its rear camera, which is impressive, but not a surprise.
However, the iPhone 11 Pro Max is not the highest scorer of the contest. The device is behind the chart-toppers: the Huawei Mate 30 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition (aka Mi Note 10 Pro).
The iPhone 11 Pro Max achieved a score of 124 for still photography and put up a tally of 102 points for video capture. While the phone’s still photography score is far behind what the Huawei Mate 30 Pro achieved, the video score of 102 places the iPhone 11 Pro Max at the top of DxOMark’s rankings with the Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition. The stills captured by the iPhone 11 Pro Max had noise and a yellow cast effect under warm light, and some highlight clipping was present as well.
This was all, the iPhone 11 Pro performed well on the DxOMark’s Camera Tests. It is not that this was not expected of the device, but the results were wonderful for Apple.
