Galaxy S11: Camera App Hints 108 MP Camera & 8K Video Recording

The APK teardown of the latest version of Samsung camera app hints that the Galaxy S11 could come with 108 MP camera. In addition, the upcoming flagship model should be able to record 8K videos at 30fps. XDA-Developers details about the current beta version of the Samsung camera app that was released recently.

There is also a hint that there will be night hyperlapse mode and vertical panorama mode. In addition, the code describes a feature that activates the simultaneous recording and switching of perspectives with multiple cameras which we have seen already on the iPhone 11 series.

Of course, it is not yet certain that the new features will actually be found later in the Galaxy S11. It would be possible for the features to be incorporated into another Samsung flagship model. Currently, it is assumed that the information in the camera app’s code is related to the Galaxy S11.

The Samsung Galaxy S11 series is expected to be announced at the Mobile World Congress, which will be held in February 2020 in Barcelona. There is no information about the exact date of the launch event.
