In-screen fingerprint sensor technology is a decent solution to physical fingerprint sensors. Almost all of the smartphone manufacturers agree to this and are implementing these sensors in their devices for a while now.
Now, after all the companies, even Apple is said to be working on this technology for its 2020 iPhones, according to our sources.
“Apple is considering including this in-screen touch sensor in the 2020 iPhone model if testing is successful” according to sources.
This can mean only one thing, Apple will be giving out both- Touch as well as Face ID in its iPhones.
Apple is also working on a cheaper iPhone according to the recent renders by Nikkei, who suggests that it could come out as early as the first half of 2020.
The device might look like the iPhone 8 and include a 4.7-inch panel and is expected to have Touch ID built into the home button and not the screen.
